SKRC thanks everyone for their support during the very busy recent meetings, and please note our test day on 3rd June. We will not be able to offer ARKS tests on 3rd June. Our June race weekend 19/20 June will revert to the pre-COVID normal format, practice on Saturday, and race on Sunday for all classes. Early entries are advised. We shall be welcoming the 250 National Super 4 championship, there is a specific entry open only for registered competitors which covers Saturday practice. There is a separate club 250 National entry for guests. Overnights are allowed on Saturday in accordance with current government regulations and we will advise whether we can accommodate Friday evening arrivals prior to the meeting. But remember only the driver plus two can attend practice or race days, still no spectators allowed. If you are staying overnight you need to tell us when you first arrive.
As always teams and traders need to complete their forms prior to both the test days and race days.
Shenington KRC would like to thank everyone who supported the club at practice and race days over the last two weeks. We thank you for your observance of the COVID regulations, they may at times seem onerous but do have clarity and help with overall safety for all. We would like to congratulate all the 2020 award winners, especially our new Driver of the Year Louis Harvey and Lady Driver of the Year Savannah Hardy. Very well done and lets hope we are back to a normal awards dinner early in 2022. We also want to thank our marshals and officials who have recently had six very busy days at the track and our track management for preparing the venue each time.
May follows the same race format as April and we will soon open 3rd June for practice. We all hope that the June meeting can be a normal Saturday practice and Sunday race with limited overnights for caravans and motorhomes. And please make sure you have our SuperPrix on 16-18th July in your diaries.
The Shenington Team would like to thank everyone for their participation over the weekend, furthermore continuing to help with COVID restrictions. Remember the test days on Tuesday 13th and Thursday 15th before the race meeting on 17/18 April.
