Important COVID-Related Update!

The Shenington Kart Racing Club committee has made the decision not to, admit any person that has been outside of the United Kingdom within the preceding ten days of a practice day.

This includes drivers, mechanics, teams and family members and is regardless of whether the person holds a Motorsport UK Travel Exemption letter, which is only valid for Motorsport UK permitted races.

Would you please ensure that if you or anyone accompanying you may be in this category do not please attend the Shenington practice day.

We have taken this decision in the interest of everyone else attending our events.

If this requires you to withdraw your entry please contact Sonja Game our Competition Secretary. If you are in this category for a race day, we will ask for a copy of a Motorsport UK Travel Exemption Letter or reference number, and proof of a negative PCR COVID-19 test.

We expect everyone is eager to get back on track after the Motorports UK announcement for restarting.  Your Shenington Committee are just finalising plans for up to four mid-week practice days during the Easter holidays.  We’ll get the dates out to you very soon.  Meantime we will shortly be opening for entries for our April race weekend on 17th and 18th.  This will run as two separate race days, with practice in the mornings, just like the events last year.  Please note we will run the May race weekend to the same format.  Memberships are available through the link on our website.
