Lockdown 3 – Update

Happy New Year to all Shenington KRC members, guests, families and teams.

As you would expect we are not going to be able to race in January and most probably not in February so until further notice we are closed. We will send out another announcement once we have further information from Motorsport UK and the government on the lifting of the lockdown.

We realise many of you are enthusiastic about returning to the track when it is safe and in the meantime memberships for 2021 are open and pit space renewals are offered with a £30 discount.

For those that were entered for our 29th December practice day be assured that the refunds are all actioned and working through the system to you.

We will hold onto the 2020 trophies and special awards until there seems a good time to make the presentation, and if you still have one of our perpetual trophies please arrange to return it to Sonja Game.

In the meantime we, your Shenington committee, wish everyone a safe and healthy 2021.

Tuesday 29 December Test Day Cancelled

It is with apologies to our supporters and award winners that Shenington must now cancel our planned practice and awards day on Tuesday 29th December as Oxfordshire is now in Tier 4. But this must be in the interests of everyone in order to slow down the progress of this abominable virus.

We will issue refunds to everyone that entered the practice day, but please be patient as the refunds take a little while to work their way through the system.

We will not be opening entries for 2021 race meetings until we are sure that they can proceed, so please be patient, and we thank you all for the support of the club.

We can also reveal with pleasure that our British Kart Championship date on 8th and 9th May 2021 is for TKM, with other classes to be confirmed shortly.

Meantime work hard at keeping safe, we wish everyone a Happy Christmas, and send best wishes to everyone that has caught the virus for a speedy recovery.
